Client: Formlabs, a 3D printing technology developer, makes it possible to bring world changing ideas to life through rapid prototyping and production.


Concept: Formlabs’ brand felt disconnected from its intricate and sophisticated line of 3D printers. We pulled inspiration from their product design to build a brand system that included a more vibrant color palette, a sleek approach to product imagery, and bold typography. These changes ultimately made the brand more ownable through color, a simplified logo, and a more serious tone that aligns with their brand values.

I played a key role in creating the visual identity, taking part in designing the logo and 3D elements, and also developing the color and type systems. I also ensured the seamless integration of all design elements into the final brand guidelines.
